Chocolate chip cookies

 Chocolate Chip cookies

They are simply delicious!

I love dark chocolate, so for this recipe I use dark chocolate (63% cacao) baking chips.

Ingredients:

2 cups dark or semi-sweet chocolate baking chips (340g)
3/4 cup sugar, 1/2 tsp. salt
6 tbsp. butter at room temperature
2 eggs at room temperature
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 1/4 cup all purpose flour mixed with 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 cup chopped walnuts (optional)

Preparation:

1)    Preheat oven to 375F Degrees.

2)   If you like more chocolate chips in your cookies, you can melt 1 cups of chips instead of 1 ½ cup. Set aside.

3)
Cream the following ingredients in a large bowl until light

4) Add the following to the mix

     5)
Add the melted Chocolate, 1 ¼ cup all-purpose flour & ½ tsp baking soda. Incorporate everything together.

       6) Add ½ cup chocolate chips (or 1 cup if you decided to melt 1 cup of chocolate chips). I like walnuts, and if you do as well, you can add ½ or 1 cup of walnuts.

 7) Drop teaspoon size of the mix on a baking sheet that is lined with parchment paper.

8) Bake for 10 min (until tops are cracked and crusty)

9) Enjoy!
